About the Author Susan Beebe was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 4, 1956. She and her mother, Barbara, moved to Friendship Long Island in 1985. They lived there full-time for several years. An artist and an illustrator, she enjoys gardening, birding, natural history, French, and Japanese. Her husband, Jonathan Frost, owns an art gallery in Rockland that displays her work, along with other artists' work. Read more
